"I'll try to keep that in mind." He smirked sideways, shuffling through the things on the counter until he found yesterday's paper. "I know, Betty makes a mean pancake."
He put down the paper and looked at her a minute. Just... looked.
"I guess." Shrug. "If you'll have me."
